Don’t Overlook The Bargains Second Hand Shops Offer
We just happened to be out this past weekend doing some last minute shopping in preparation for my daughters graduation party when we decided to take a stroll through the local salvation army store. Now I’m not one that normally would shop at a thrift store but there was a sofa in the window that caught my attention so we went in to take a look. This as it turned out was one of the best things I’ve ever done. The sofa was actually brand new and donated by a local furniture store as it had a small tear in the back of the fabric. Something I really didnt mind as it would be going against the wall anyway. I was thrilled to buy it for $110 that they had it marked but as it turned out they were having a one day sale and all furniture was 75% off . Needless to say I just about fell over when they only charged me $28 for it. That wasn’t the only bargain to be had that day. My wife an avid fashion nut is always buying expensive purses and handbags every chance she gets. While I was loading the car with my newly acquired bargain she managed to snag a few of her own. She bought several almost new Mary Frances Designer Handbags, a retired vera bradley purse and a longaberger picnic basket at prices you can’t even find on ebay. So next time your looking for a discount don’t overlook those secondhand stores and thrift shops.
