Child Safety and Electric Roller Blinds
Our daughter has just started walking around the house; it’s so cute seeing her wobble around on those chubby legs of hers. For months before hand we put a lot of effort into getting our home ready for this event. Things really start to change when your kid starts becoming mobile, there are all sorts of things you need to start worrying about. For example, all the cupboards in the kitchen needed to be fitted with child proof locks, as did the bathroom, and we had to get plugs for unused power sockets to prevent her from sticking anything in there.
I thought I’d had everything covered, but the other day I caught her mucking around with the blind cords, and realised that they could be extremely dangerous. After reading some horror stories on the Internet, I’ve decided to replace our old blinds with electric roller blinds. They are fairly expensive, but you can’t put a price on your child’s safety.
