If you want to be able to improve your game without needing to have someone practice with you, then you may want to get one of those tennis ball machines. Much of being able to execute the perfect forehands or backhands really comes down to how well you condition your body through repetitive motion to hit those shots. The more perfect shots you hit, the faster those swings will become second nature to you. Having a partner is great but you swings won’t be as consistent since there is a lot of chance for error. With a machine, it’s consistent. Once you improve your game then you will want to mix it up by playing different people but in the beginning, a tennis ball machine is the best way to up your tennis game.
