Only the best ultralight spinning rods are worth spending any amount of money on, and a lot of them will use the price tag to get you to buy into thinking that they are really worth the money you will drop on it. This isn’t true, and you still have to pay attention to a couple of things while you are looking for ultralight spinning rods, because even the most expensive ones on the shelf aren’t necessarily the best ones. You have to be sure that it has ample backbone, and enough fiberglass and material to provide you the strength needed to control a fish while they are moving and thrashing around through the water, as well as a tip that is sensitive enough to feel even the lightest bait pickups.
